Diduga flavicostata Snellen, 1878 has the following morphological characteristics. The antennae of males are ciliated. The head, collar, and tegulae are bright yellowish. The thorax and forewings are dark greyish. The forewings have a bright yellow costal area dusted with a small number of black scales, with a waved lower edge. The costa is black near its base, and there are black specks on the antemedial and postmedial areas. A marginal bright yellow band runs along the wing, with a pale waved inner edge. The cilia are orange yellowish. The abdomen and hindwings are paler in color compared to other body parts.
