Dichanthelium acuminatum, commonly called tapered rosette grass, is a grass species belonging to the genus Dichanthelium, native to North America. It forms a hybridization complex with several other Dichanthelium species, including D. dichotomum, D. sphaerocarpon, D. ovale, and D. aciculare. Dichanthelium acuminatum has been successfully grown in cultivation to produce seed. It has been observed growing in a range of habitat types: oak and pine forests, wetland edges, and sand dunes.
