Diarsia rosaria, commonly called the rosy dart, is a moth species belonging to the family Noctuidae. In Canada, it is found across Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Newfoundland and Labrador, British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Yukon. Its range extends south from Canada into northern California and eastern Oregon in the United States. This moth is abundant and widely distributed in wet conifer forests. It has a wingspan of approximately 30 millimeters, which equals 1.2 inches. The larvae of Diarsia rosaria feed on a variety of different grasses.
