Diaphone eumela, commonly known as the cherry spot or lily borer, is a moth species belonging to the family Noctuidae. This species is distributed across Lesotho, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa, and Angola. Similar to its close relative Brithys crini, this noctuid moth occurs almost exclusively on plants from the Amaryllidaceae and Liliaceae families. It has been recorded feeding on the species Ornithogalum eckloni and Boophone disticha.
