Dianthera angusta, commonly called the pineland waterwillow, is a flowering plant that belongs to the Acanthaceae family. It has been classified in both the genus Justicia and the genus Dianthera. This species is a dicotyledonous perennial herb. Its native distribution covers parts of Florida and a small number of areas in Georgia. It grows in habitats near lakes and ponds, as well as in wet pineland and prairie areas. In Georgia, it has been found growing in roadside ditches, and alongside Hartwrightia in shallow sloughs and wet savannas.
