Derrima stellata, commonly known as the pink star moth, is a moth species that belongs to the family Noctuidae. Its range extends from southern Maine to Florida in the eastern United States, and westward as far as Missouri and Texas. This moth has a wingspan that measures between 21 and 30 mm. Adult moths are active from April to May and again from July to August, and there are two generations of the species produced each year. Derrima stellata holds the conservation status of a species of special concern in the state of Connecticut.
