About Dentella repens (L.) J.R.Forst. & G.Forst.
Dentella repens, commonly known as creeping dentella, is a slender prostrate herb. It grows in low-lying areas, riverbanks, and clayey soils at elevations up to 350 m. It produces dichotomous branches that root at the nodes, with opposite subsessile leaves and interpetiolar stipules. Its small white flowers are funnel-shaped, solitary and axillary; they are often borne in V-shaped branch forks, with a hairy calyx and a two-celled ovary. This species flowers and fruits year-round, and is currently assessed as Least Concern (LC).
