About Dendrobium lindleyi Steud.

Dendrobium lindleyi Steud., commonly called Lindley's Dendrobium, also has an illegitimate published synonym Dendrobium aggregatum. It is a member of the orchid genus Dendrobium. This species grows naturally in mountain regions of southern China, specifically the provinces of Guangdong, Guangxi, Guizhou, and Hainan, and across Southeast Asia, including Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Bangladesh, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand, and Vietnam. Dendrobium lindleyi blooms in spring, producing inflorescences that are roughly 10 to 30 centimeters (4 to 12 inches) long, each holding between 5 and 15 individual flowers. This species prefers growing in conditions with high amounts of light.
