Dendrelaphis marenae, described by Vogel & Van Rooijen in 2008, is commonly known by two common names: Gaulke's bronze-back tree snake and Maren's bronzeback. It is a species of snake belonging to the subfamily Ahaetuliinae, within the family Colubridae. This species is native to Southeast Asia, and can be found specifically in Indonesia and the Philippines. Its preferred natural habitat is forest, occurring at elevations up to 1,000 meters (3,300 feet). Dendrelaphis marenae reproduces via oviparity, meaning it lays eggs. Its clutch size ranges from two to ten eggs.
