About Declana leptomera (Walker, 1858)

This moth species, currently scientifically named Declana leptomera (Walker, 1858), was previously referred to as Ipana leptomera. It can be distinguished from other moths by its three-lobed hindwings and fine herringbone streak pattern. Males of this species are yellow-tan, while females are grey. The species is distributed across mainland New Zealand and the Chatham Islands.
