About Daucus glochidiatus (Labill.) Fisch., C.A.Mey. & Avé-Lall.
Daucus glochidiatus grows as an erect annual herb, reaching a height between 2 and 60 centimetres, and rarely grows taller than 20 centimetres. Its flowers can grow in a range of different colours. This species is distributed across all of Australasia. It is present in every Australian state, on both the North Island and South Island of New Zealand, and also grows on the Chatham Islands. It is common across temperate and arid areas of Australia, and does not occur in Australian tropical regions. It is often found growing in association with limestone, although it can tolerate many different types of soil.
