About Daphnis placida Walker, 1856

This moth species, Daphnis placida, has a wingspan of approximately 60 millimeters. Its larvae are documented to feed on three plant species: Alstonia constricta, Neisosperma kilneri, and Tabernaemontana angustisepala. In terms of distribution, Daphnis placida is found in Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia (including Borneo), the Solomon Islands, and the northern half of Australia. It has also been recorded in New Zealand.
