About Dalea aurea Nutt. ex Pursh

Dalea aurea, commonly known as golden prairie clover, is a flowering plant species belonging to the legume family Fabaceae. It is native to North America. In the United States, it occurs in the Great Plains and the Southwest, and it can also be found in the Mexican state of Coahuila. Its natural habitat consists of silty or gravelly prairies, frequently growing over limestone. It is an herbaceous perennial with pinnate-compound leaves, and it produces yellow flowers during spring and early summer.
