Cyrtarachne nagasakiensis Strand, 1918 has distinct morphological differences between female and male individuals. Females have a total body length of 5โ7 mm. Their carapace is wider than it is long, reddish brown with dark brown markings. The sternum is also reddish brown. The abdomen is broad and wider than long, marked with a broad white band that runs from side to side, which has a gold edge along its rear margin. The female epigyne does not have a scape. Males are smaller, with a total body length of 1โ5 mm. They are darker in color than females, and do not have the white abdominal marking found on females. The median apophysis of the male palpal bulb is thick and ends in a pointed tip.
