About Cyperus dubius Rottb.
Cyperus dubius Rottb. is a clustered, densely crowded perennial herb. Its culms grow 8–40 cm (3.1–16 inches) tall, with a shape ranging from bluntly triangular to sharply triangular, and have bulbous bases. This species produces many linear leaves that are 1–5 mm wide, with a rough scabrid texture on the leaf margins and veins. Its flower clusters are hemispherical to ovoid in shape, and their color ranges from green, to greenish-white, to green-tinted white. This species is native to Bangladesh, Burundi, Côte d'Ivoire, Equatorial Guinea, Ethiopia, India (specifically within the states of Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, and Tamil Nadu), Indonesia, Kenya, Madagascar, Malaysia, the Philippines, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Sudan, Tanzania, Thailand, Uganda, and Zimbabwe.
