About Cyperus aromaticus (Ridl.) Mattf. & Kük.

Cyperus aromaticus, commonly known as aromatic kyllinga, is a perennial plant species with triangular stems and aromatic leaves. It is native to tropical Africa, and also occurs as an introduced species in parts of Asia and Australia. This plant grows in wet and moist areas, and can be identified by its flowering head that forms a tuft of spikelets. It was first formally described in 1884 by Henry Nicholas Ridley.
