Cynoglossum amabile, commonly called Chinese hound's tongue or Chinese forget-me-not, is a flowering plant species in the Boraginaceae family, native to Asia. It is a hardy annual that grows up to 50 cm (20 in) tall, with hairy leaves and clusters of sky-blue flowers that bloom in late summer. It is closely related to the common garden forget-me-not (Myosotis sylvatica), and is also grown as an ornamental plant. Plants cultivated in the United Kingdom have been awarded the Royal Horticultural Society's Award of Garden Merit, a confirmation of this award was issued in 2017. The Latin specific epithet "amabile" translates to "lovely". Cynoglossum amabile contains tumorigenic pyrrolizidine alkaloids, including amabiline.
