About Cynegetis impunctata (Linnaeus, 1758)
Cynegetis impunctata (Linnaeus, 1758) is a species of beetle. Adult individuals of this species measure approximately 3 to 4.5 mm in length, have a strongly domed body shape, and are typically ochre-brown in colour. Most specimens have no spots on their bodies, though some individuals do have spots, and some may be darker in overall colour. This species lives in damp meadows and woodlands. It has been recorded in Austria, Belgium, non-alpine Germany, Norway, Poland, and Sweden, and occurs less frequently in other countries. As of 2012, this species has not been reported to be present in the British Isles.
