Apterodela unipunctata, commonly known as the one-spotted tiger beetle, is a species of flashy tiger beetle belonging to the family Cicindelidae. It is found in North America, with a Nearctic distribution, and inhabits open forest and leaf litter. This species was formerly classified under the genus Cylindera, and its accepted scientific name is Cylindera unipunctata (Fabricius, 1775). It is believed to be the sister taxon of Apterodela ovipennis.
