About Cydosia nobilitella Cramer, 1779
Cydosia nobilitella, commonly known as the curve-lined cydosia moth or regal cydosia moth, is a moth species belonging to the family Noctuidae. This species was first formally described by Pieter Cramer in 1779. Its distribution ranges from southern Florida in the United States, south through the Antilles to Argentina. The wingspan of Cydosia nobilitella measures 20 to 25 millimeters. Caterpillars of this species have been documented feeding on Spigelia anthelmia.
