About Cyclophyllum longipetalum S.T.Reynolds & R.J.F.Hend.
Scientific name: Cyclophyllum longipetalum S.T.Reynolds & R.J.F.Hend. Occasionally, Cyclophyllum longipetalum grows to the size of a tree. The tallest known specimens reach 25 metres in height, with a trunk diameter of 50 centimetres. It is most often found as a shrub growing at the edge of the eucalyptus rainforest ecotone. Its trunk is mostly straight; larger trees may sometimes be buttressed at the base. The bark is grey or brown, marked with wrinkles, cracks, or fissures. Small branches of the species are fairly thick, and are usually four-angled, meaning they appear square in cross section.
