About Cyclophora nanaria (Walker, 1861)

Cyclophora nanaria, commonly known as the dwarf tawny wave, is a moth species belonging to the family Geometridae. This species was first formally described by Francis Walker in 1861. In the United States, it can be found from California to Texas, and from New Jersey to Florida, extending west along the Gulf Coast. Its range continues south through Dominica and Jamaica, all the way to Argentina. It is an introduced species in Hawaii. The wingspan of this moth reaches approximately 16 mm.
