Cussonia thyrsiflora, officially Cussonia thyrsiflora Thunb., is commonly called the Cape coast cabbage tree in English, and known as Kaapse kuskiepersol in Afrikaans.

Native distribution

This species naturally occurs in South Africa, growing along the country's southern Cape coast in the area between Cape Town and Port Elizabeth.
