Ctenucha rubroscapus, commonly known as the red-shouldered ctenucha moth, is a moth species belonging to the family Erebidae. It was first described by Édouard Ménétries in 1857. This species is found in western North America, with its range restricted to low elevations west of the Cascade Mountains, and south of Chehalis, Washington. The forewings of this moth are 19 to 20 mm in length. Its larvae feed on species from the plant families Poaceae and Cyperaceae, including plants from the genera Dactylis and Elymus.
