Cryptocephalus biguttatus (Scopoli, 1763) is a species of cylindrical leaf beetle. It is classified in the family Chrysomelidae, subfamily Cryptocephalinae. The head, pronotum, and elytra of this beetle are all black, with two yellow spots located at the elytra apex. Adult individuals of this species are active between May and June. Adults mainly feed on plant species from the genera Corylus and Trifolium. This species can be found in central and northern Europe, including the British Isles, France, and Italy, as well as in the east Palearctic realm and the Near East.
