Croton linearis Jacq., commonly known as pineland croton, is a flowering plant. It is native to the Caribbean, including the Bahamas, Cuba, Jamaica, and Hispaniola, as well as south Florida. Across its entire native range, this species grows in pine rocklands, marl prairies, coastal strands, and disturbed uplands.
