About Croton insularis Baill.

Croton insularis, commonly known as the silver croton, is a small tree species belonging to the spurge family. It grows in dry rainforest and rainforest margins in eastern Australia, occurring in areas north of the Blue Mountains. This species can also be found in New Caledonia and Vanuatu. Additional common names for Croton insularis include white croton, cascarilla, native cascarilla and Queensland cascarilla.
