Crotalaria rotundifolia J.F.Gmel. is a flowering plant species belonging to the genus Crotalaria in the pea family (Fabaceae). One common name for this species is rabbitbells. It is a perennial nitrogen-fixing dicotyledonous legume that produces yellow flowers, and grows in the Southeastern United States. This species has simple leaves, and its flowers are arranged in racemes. Individuals of Crotalaria rotundifolia die back when exposed to freezing temperatures. It is most commonly found in longleaf pine savannas, and has also been observed growing in slash pine flatwoods, sandhill communities, and scrub environments.
