About Crepis sibirica L.

Crepis sibirica L. is a plant species belonging to the tribe Cichorieae, family Asteraceae. It is native to regions of Asia and Eastern Europe. Confirmed locations where it has been found include China (the provinces and regions of Heilongjiang, Liaoning, Inner Mongolia, and Xinjiang), Mongolia, Russia, Central Asia, and Eastern Europe. This species is a perennial herb that can grow up to 150 cm (5 feet) in height. It spreads through large underground rhizomes. It produces a flat-topped cluster of several flower heads. Each flower head contains many yellow ray florets, and has no disc florets. Crepis sibirica grows in mountain slopes, forests, and grasslands.
