Crataegus uniflora Münchh. is a species of hawthorn, with common names one-flowered hawthorn and dwarf hawthorn. It is native to parts of the southeastern United States. This plant is most often a small bush, though some individuals can reach a few meters in height. Its flowers grow either singly or in small clusters. It is a hermaphroditic species. Its fruits are hairy, and range in color from yellow to reddish. C. uniflora grows in a wide variety of habitats, and thrives in both open, sunny and shaded environments. It can grow successfully in moist loamy soils, loamy sands, and dry sand.
