Crataegus schuettei Ashe, commonly known as royal hawthorn or Schuette's hawthorn, is a shrubby tree species belonging to the rose family Rosaceae. It is native to northeastern North America, with a range extending from Arkansas and North Carolina northward to Ontario and Quebec. This species most commonly grows in forest edge habitats and old fields, and produces red ripe fruit.
