About Cotoneaster glaucophyllus Franch.
Cotoneaster glaucophyllus Franch. is a plant that reaches 4 metres (13 ft) in height. It bears arched, erect branches that range in colour from greenish to purple-black. Fertile shoots of this species measure 40–70 millimetres (1.6–2.8 in) long and hold two to four leaves each. Its pedicels are 2–6 millimetres (0.079–0.236 in) long and covered in strigose hairs. The leaves are mid-green, ranging from dull to somewhat shiny, with light green undersides. Both flower buds and open flowers are white, and the open flower corolla measures 5–6 millimetres (0.20–0.24 in) wide. The fruits are globose, orange, and 6 millimetres (0.24 in) wide.
