About Cotoneaster acutifolius Turcz.

Cotoneaster acutifolius, commonly known as Peking cotoneaster, is a flowering plant species belonging to the Rosaceae family. It is native to southern Siberia, Mongolia, and most regions of China, and has been intentionally introduced to Canada, the northern United States, and northern Europe. It grows as a shrub that typically reaches a height of 2–4 meters, equal to 7–13 feet, and can be found growing across a wide variety of habitat types. Some botanical authorities classify Cotoneaster lucidus, commonly called shiny cotoneaster, as a taxonomic synonym of Cotoneaster acutifolius.
