About Costaconvexa centrostrigaria (Wollaston, 1858)
Costaconvexa centrostrigaria, commonly known as the traveller or bent-line carpet, is a species of moth belonging to the family Geometridae. This species is native to most of North America, with the exception of the Arctic region. It has been introduced to Great Britain, the Canary Islands, the Azores, and Madeira. The wingspan of adult Costaconvexa centrostrigaria ranges from 17 to 23 mm. The flight period of adults varies by region: from May to October in Ontario, from March to November in northeastern North America, and year-round in Texas and the western part of North America. This species produces two or more generations each year. The larvae of Costaconvexa centrostrigaria feed on plants belonging to the genus Polygonum.
