The white-crowned robin-chat, with the scientific name Cossypha albicapillus, is a species of bird that belongs to the Muscicapidae family. Its native distribution primarily spans the western area of the Sudanian savanna. Its natural habitats are dry savanna, and subtropical or tropical moist shrubland. This species has typically been assumed to be monogamous. Even so, at least one case of cooperative breeding and possible multiple paternity has been observed.
