Coreopsis nudata Nutt., commonly known as Georgia tickseed, is a herbaceous perennial flowering plant in the genus Coreopsis of the family Asteraceae. It is native to the southeastern United States, specifically found in the states of Georgia, Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, and Louisiana. This perennial herb can reach up to 100 cm (40 inches) in height. Its flower heads have pink or purple ray florets and yellow disc florets. Coreopsis nudata grows naturally in swamps, ditches, and pine barrens.
