About Cordylanthus ramosus Nutt. ex Benth

This species, commonly known as bushy bird's beak, has puberulent stems covered in fine, short, erect hairs; the stems are sometimes pilose, bearing somewhat long, soft hairs instead. Stems typically grow 10 to 30 centimeters (4 to 12 inches) tall, and may occasionally reach up to 90 centimeters (35 inches) in height. Its lower leaves are also covered in puberulent hairs, measure 1 to 4 centimeters long, and have three to five lobes that are each 1 to 2 millimeters wide. Upper leaves measure 1 to 1.5 centimeters long, only 0.5 to 1 millimeter wide, and do not have lobes.
