About Corallorhiza trifida Châtel.

Corallorhiza trifida Châtel. is a species that is yellowish-green in color and leafless. It is partially myco-heterotrophic, meaning it gets some, but not all, of its nutrients from an association with fungi in the genus Tomentella. This species also produces chlorophyll, and uses it to produce some of its own carbon nutrition through autotrophy.
