About Corades enyo Hewitson, 1848
Corades enyo, commonly known as the Enyo satyr, is a species of butterfly classified under scientific name Corades enyo Hewitson, 1848. This species resides in high elevation cloud forests of the Andes in Colombia and Peru, at altitudes ranging from 2,200 to 3,000 metres (7,200 to 9,800 ft). It is a member of the subtribe Pronophilina, within the butterfly subfamily Satyrinae. Its caterpillars develop on bamboo plants of the genus Chusquea.
