About Coprosma microcarpa Hook.f.

Description: This Coprosma species has a distinctive appearance, formed by its generally horizontal branches and opposite leaves. Minute hairs grow between the leaves on the stem, and these hairs are visible when viewed with a hand lens. It produces small white drupes that measure 3 to 5 millimeters in diameter. Distribution and habitat: This species is found on both the North Island and the South Island of New Zealand. It is not currently classified as a threatened species.
