Coprosma dumosa (Cheeseman) G.T.Jane is a small, leafy, shrubby bush with small leaves. The underside of its leaves is glabrous, and its branchlets are covered in short hairs. It is found growing across the North Island, South Island, and Stewart Island of New Zealand. It inhabits lowland to montane forests. The mistletoe species Korthalsella clavata uses Coprosma dumosa as a secondary host plant.
