Conradina canescens, commonly known as false rosemary, is a shrub belonging to the mint family. It is native to the southeastern United States, and within this region it is only found in coastal areas of Alabama, Florida, and Mississippi. Its natural habitats are sandhills, coastal scrub, and flatwoods. This species is a shrub that produces light purple flowers. It can be distinguished from other species in the genus Conradina by its linear, revolute leaves that are densely covered in gray pubescence.
