About Conchylodes concinnalis Hampson, 1898

Conchylodes concinnalis is a moth species belonging to the family Crambidae. Its distribution covers Mexico and the southeastern United States, with its range extending northward to Ohio. In western North America, its range reaches west to Arizona and southern California. This moth has a wingspan of approximately 23 to 24 millimeters. Its wings are chalky white. The forewings feature black subbasal and antemedial bands, a spot in the cell with a small white center, and a larger discocellular spot with a much larger white center. The forewings also have a nearly straight submarginal line and marginal line. Adult Conchylodes concinnalis are active in flight from March through September.
