About Compsoptera jourdanaria (Serres, 1826)
Compsoptera jourdanaria is a moth species belonging to the family Geometridae. It was first described by Serres in 1826. This species occurs naturally in France, Spain, Portugal, and the islands of Sardinia and Corsica. The wingspan of adult males ranges from 30–36 mm, while the wingspan of adult females ranges from 29–39 mm. Adult moths are active between September and October each year. The larvae of Compsoptera jourdanaria feed on species from the genera Santolina, Thymus, Helichrysum, and Dorycnium.
