About Comostola chlorargyra (Walker, 1861)
Comostola chlorargyra is a species of moth in the family Geometridae, first described by Francis Walker in 1861. This species can be found in Sri Lanka, the Indian subregion, the Andaman Islands, Borneo, Java, the Philippines, Sulawesi, and Australia. It has a wingspan of approximately 20 millimeters. It is typically a green moth, with irregular white beaded wing margins that are outlined in brown. The known host plants for its caterpillars are species in the genus Cerbera, including Cerbera manghas.
