About Comesperma scoparium Drumm.

Comesperma scoparium, commonly called broom milkwort, is a small broom-shaped shrub belonging to the Polygalaceae family. In its native range, it typically grows between 0.3 and 1.2 metres tall, and produces blue flowers from February to November. James Drummond first formally published this species in 1840 in The Journal of Botany under the name Comesperma scoparia; this name was later corrected to the current scientific name Comesperma scoparium. This species grows naturally in the Australian states of Western Australia, South Australia, and Victoria.
