About Comesperma calymega Labill.
Comesperma calymega, commonly called blue-spike milkwort, is a slender perennial herb in the Polygalaceae family. It grows between 10 cm and 50 cm tall, emerging from a short woody rhizome. French botanist Jacques Labillardière first formally described this species in 1806, in the publication Novae Hollandiae Plantarum Specimen, based on a specimen that had been collected in Tasmania. This species is found in South Australia, Tasmania, Victoria, and Western Australia.
