Colubrina texensis, commonly called Texas snakewood or Texas hog plum, is a flowering plant species in the family Rhamnaceae. It is native to Texas and northeastern Mexico. It is a deciduous shrub that reaches 3 to 6 ft (0.9 to 1.8 m) in height, with zig‑zagging branches and patterned bark. It typically grows in dry, poor soils.
