About Colostygia aptata (Hübner)
Colostygia aptata (Hübner) is a moth species that belongs to the family Geometridae. It was first described by Jacob Hübner in 1813. This species can be found across most of the Palearctic realm. It has a wingspan of 20 to 25 millimetres, which equals 0.79 to 0.98 inches. Adult moths are active between July and August each year. The larvae of this moth feed on plants from the genus Galium. Larvae can be found from August through to June of the following year, and this species overwinters in its larval stage.
