Colomychus talis, commonly called the distinguished colymychus moth, is a moth species belonging to the family Crambidae. This species was first described by Augustus Radcliffe Grote in 1878. It is native to Mexico and the southeastern United States; in the United States, it has been officially recorded in the states of Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Maryland, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, and Virginia. Adult Colomychus talis moths are active between the months of May and August.
